Williamson County Emergency Services District #3, Hutto Fire Station No. 2 dedicated this new station to Vic Stern, a local resident who dedicated much of his life to the establishment of the Hutto Fire Department. Vic Stern fire station consists of an 11,800 square foot facility capable of housing 9 Fire and EMS crew members per shift. The building is built on three and a half acres of previous farm land and includes over 52,000 square feet of site concrete parking, driveways, sidewalks and drainage flumes. The landscaping and revegetation covers over 99,000 square feet, not including the adjoining detention pond area of over 2 acres.
