The project is a historical renovation of the exterior façade originally constructed in 1907. Renovations included replacing numerous hand-pitched limestone members, re-pointing 75% of the original mortar joints, roof repairs, stain glass restoration including installation of new protective glass and glazing, and repainting all wood soffit, rafters, fascia, trim, casing and doors back to the original paint scheme. To maintain the historical appearance of the church, each stone that was replaced was hand pitched on site. Each limestone blank was meticulously pitched with hammers and chisels to create the appearance of a historic finish on the stone.
